Meet The Team: Ellie Meyer

Name: Ellie Meyer   

Role: Games Delivery Coordinator

Interesting fact about you?  

I have a twin brother  and I’m the older twin! A lot of people say we look alike, but I don’t think we do.  

What do you like to do outside of ‘work’?  

I love going camping. I grew up camping with my family and have continued to do so as I’ve become older. Whether it’s a weekend away or a longer road trip by the beach or out west, I’m happiest when I can disconnect and enjoy time with friends and family.  

How long have you been with PA?  

I’ve been with PA since August 2023, about two and a half years now.  

What is your favourite part about your role?  

My favourite part of the role is getting to interact with the athletes and understand the unique journeys that have brought them to where they are, while also being part of the team behind the team. We are a close-knit group that brings the Games together and I really enjoy working with the core team as well as those who join us during Games time.  

What are you most excited about for Milano Cortina?  

As it will be my first Winter Paralympics, the entire Games experience is exciting. As my main priority for Milano Cortina has been outfitting the team, I am looking forward to seeing the athletes wearing their uniforms competing on an international stage.   

Why should someone donate to PA?  

Donating to PA directly supports our athletes and helps ensure they have everything they need to perform at their best against the rest of the world.  Every contribution plays a part in building a strong, supported team and delivering a successful Games campaign for Australia.
