Para sport Equipment Enhancement Program

The Para sport Equipment Enhancement Program (PEEP) provides targeted support to address the specific gap of equipment within the Para sport pathway, enabling more athletes to enter and progress within the Para sport pathway, including those competing within high-performance.

Program Overview

The PEEP addresses the outcomes of the findings report into “Understanding Barriers to Entry and Progression in the High-Performance Pathways for Para Athletes”, specifically the recommendations as they relate to Para-sport equipment and adopting a system-wide approach to maximise economies of scale, enabling better access to Para-sport equipment for Para athletes.

The PEEP, supported by substantial investment from the Australian Sports Commission With significant investment from the Australian Sports Commission’s Para uplift, Paralympics Australia partners including Toyota and other philanthropic donations will support equipment gaps across the breadth of the pathway from participation to high performance via dedicated funding streams.
