Lynn Cullen is a highly experienced cross country skiing competitor and biathlete, who is now the sighted guide for Para biathlete Taryn Dickens. She competed at the World Biathlon Championships four times during the 1990s, was a member of the Shadow Olympic Team in 1992, 1994 and 1998 and has more recently won three Masters Biathlon Championships.  

Lynn connected with Taryn through her father, who was involved with a manufacturer who was supplying skis to Taryn and they started competing as a team in 2024. Lynn and Taryn have developed a strong level of trust through good communication, helping them navigate technical courses with speed, efficiency and safety.  

As a teenager, Lynn was a member of the Flying Fruit Fly Circus which performed in Australia and the UK. She is now a mother of two and an occupational therapist by trade. Her sporting heroes are Norwegian brothers Johannes and Tarjei Boe, who are icons of biathlon, winning eight Olympic gold medals between them.
