Tennis Australia 2025 Junior Wheelchair Development Series – Melbourne

Session #4 Melbourne – National Wheelchair Tennis Championships – Friday, Nov 7 1:00-4:00pm & Saturday, September 8th, 10:00am-1:00pm. National Tennis Centre, Entrance D, Olympic Boulevard, Melbourne.

Tennis Australia in partnership with Melrose Wheelchairs are hosting a series of junior wheelchair tennis development sessions this year. Led by Tennis Australia’s wheelchair coaching team, participants will be taken through different tennis skills, mobility drills, and fun games in an inclusive environment. Sessions will be held in conjunction with the Australian Wheelchair Tennis Tournament Series, with junior participants getting to play alongside and meet, Australia’s top wheelchair tennis players. A representative from Melrose Wheelchairs will be on-site to support any sports chair fitting advice at all of the sessions.

Who is Eligible: Any child 15 & under with a physical disability or mobility impairment.
Sports chairs: please bring your own sports chair if you have one. Indicate below if you require to borrow one.

Registration Cost: No cost. Subsidized by Tennis Australia and Melrose Wheelchairs.

Melrose Wheelchairs Travel Grants: If you live 125km from a session location, you will be eligible for a Melrose Wheelchairs Travel Grant.
