Jaylen’s Story

Jaylen Brown grew up in basketball stadiums, watching from the sidelines as his Mum hit the court. It was where his love for basketball began.

He started playing wheelchair basketball at seven-years-old in Brisbane, he was invited to a training session and from there continued to play.

While he’s accomplished a great deal in his career so far, Jaylen’s goal is to play for Australia at a Paralympic Games.

Jaylen is so committed to his dream, he travels hundreds of kilometres to train in Melbourne, he also plays in a wheelchair basketball competition in Warrnambool, plays in the National League for the Darwin Salties and trains with his Mum and Dad.
