Amelia White was born and raised in Sydney before moving west to a cattle farm during her teenage years. It was there that she took up competitive eventing.

At the age of 15, Amelia gained her student pilot’s licence. After graduating from high school, she completed a Bachelor degree in Law and a Bachelor degree in Criminology, graduating with Honours. She then completed a Masters in Law and a Diploma of Legal Practice before starting work as a corporate lawyer.

Making her Paralympic debut at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games with her horse Genius, Amelia scored 69.238% to finish eighth in the Individual Championship Test Grade V, and sixth in the Dressage Individual Team Test Grade V with a score of 72.660%. She also competed in the Team competition, where Australia finished in 13th position.
