Paralympics Australia has today announced that Citi Australia will continue its commitment to the Australian Paralympic team by re-signing as a Paralympics Australia Global Partner.
Citi has deep ties with the Paralympic movement globally, and Citi Australia has been a Global Partner to Paralympics Australia since 2018. With one year to go until the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games, Paralympics Australia is thrilled to continue this key relationship which plays a crucial role in supporting Australian athletes compete at their best on the world stage.
“Paralympics Australia is all about building strong and enduring partnerships with organisations which, like Citi, are committed to championing inclusion and changing perceptions of disability,” Paralympics Australia Chief Executive Catherine Clark said.
“Citi’s relationship with Paralympic sport dates back over a decade now, resulting in a range of collaboration initiatives and I’m confident there is plenty of scope for us to continue to grow the partnership,” Clarke added.
Citi Australia CEO Mark Woodruff said, “It is an enormous privilege to continue supporting Paralympics Australia as a Global Partner. As we mark one year to the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, we are delighted to share in the excitement of being part of the team behind the team.

To celebrate this announcement and the one-year-to-go to the Paris Paralympic Games milestone, Citi is hosting events at their offices in Sydney and Melbourne for colleagues and clients with past and former Paralympians.
Joining Citi in Melbourne will be Tokyo 2020 long jump gold medalist Vanessa Low and Steelers wheelchair rugby world champion Shae Graham.
Wheelchair racing star and Team Citi Ambassador Madison de Rozario and former Rollers wheelchair basketball player — now Paralympics Australia vice-president — Grant Mizens OAM will join Citi’s celebration in Sydney.
Citi extended its worldwide link with the Paralympic Movement last year. The global partnership drives valuable local business-to-business opportunities for Citi and creates opportunity for networking with leading brands that have partnered with Paralympics Australia.
In addition to the sponsorship, Citi Australia is proud to support four-time Paralympian Madison de Rozario, who was appointed as a Team Citi Ambassador in 2019, Madison is a passionate advocate for people with disabilities.
