Paralympics Australia and leading national disability support organisation, NDSP Plan Managers, are proud to announce the expansion of their partnership in an agreement that will extend beyond the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

NDSP Plan Managers is one of the top three providers of specialised management support to recipients of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

NDSP’s core values of compassion, trust, innovation and knowledge are shared with Paralympics Australia, which administers programs to increase sporting participation among people with a disability, alongside its commitments to elite sporting success.

“We know that involvement in sport leads to positive and sometimes life-changing results, especially for people who have a disability,” Paralympics Australia Chief Executive Catherine Clark said.

“There are enormous benefits physically and mentally through increased community and social connection.

“The fact that NDSP shares this belief and can partner with us to encourage and accelerate opportunities for involvement in sport for people with a disability is very exciting.

“Our relationship started before the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics and is a great example of how partnerships between like-minded organisations can grow and achieve meaningful and important change.”

The expansion of the agreement between Paralympics Australia and NDSP is indicative of the increasing momentum of sponsorship interest in Paralympics Australia in the lead-up to the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, building on the Paralympic Movement’s exponential growth in Australia since Tokyo 2020.

NDSP Plan Managers Chief Executive Graham Oades said the expanded partnership with Paralympics Australia was an exciting new opportunity to deliver a broader range of shared objectives.

“NDSP Plan Managers are filled with pride to be joining the ranks of some of Australia’s most iconic companies in support of not only the Paralympic Movement, but also in support of our vision to enable people living with disability to achieve their life goals.”

“This is a big commitment, but the synergies between NDSP and Paralympics Australia’s values as an enabler to the sector to ensure that people living with disability have the opportunities to increase physical activity and social participation were undeniable, and we are excited to be a part of it.”

“We believe that NDSP can support Paralympics Australia through our NDIS experts with knowledge sharing. We will be able to impart our knowledge to enable participants of the programs and staff to maximise their plans and build capacity.”
