Considerations

Please be aware of the following considerations that must be adhered to for the use of the indigenous design:

All costs associated with the application and production of the design will be the responsibility of the athlete.
The athlete must ensure that the supplier adheres to the guidelines of use for the design, in which the indigenous artwork must not be manipulated in a manner that creates offense or diminishes meaning of the artwork.
It is the responsibility of the athlete to liaise with the supplier, and gather all relevant information regarding the application of the design prior to seeking approval by Paralympics Australia.
Prior to production, all artworks / production fields must be sent to Paralympics Australia for approval.
Paralympics Australia will determine the most appropriate time for when the design can be used. It is highly preferable that the Indigenous design is most prominent at the time of the games and not published in public forums such as social media prior to the commencement of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
Paralympics Australia reserves the right to reject submissions for the use of the indigenous design if it is deemed inappropriate or breaches the above considerations.
