Snow Australia is calling on athletes aged 10 and above with a physical or vision impairment to join its vibrant and growing Para-snowsport community.
Snow Australia’s 2025 Para-snowsport calendar is full of chances for athletes to develop their skills, make lifelong friendships and experience the pure freedom of the snow.
Programs are available regardless of experience, including coaches and events that could open a world of opportunity. It could even be the first step towards competing at the Paralympic Games.
Here are some of the highlights:
Adaptive Festival – June 20-22
Snow Australia will host the 2025 Adaptive Festival, a weekend showcasing Adaptive Snowsports. The inclusive and social event is open to adaptive skiers and snowboarders of all experience levels. The event is supported by Paralympics Australia and Disabled Wintersport Australia.

Para Development Camps – through June, July, August
A variety of Development Camps will support athlete growth and learning through skill development and education, helping athletes become familiar with daily training environments and building the foundations for progression in the sport.
Futures Events
Snow Australia Para Futures is a Talent Identification initiative, supported by Paralympics Australia and Disabled Wintersport Australia. The events aim to provide opportunities for athletes with physical or visual impairments to explore Para-alpine and Para-snowboard pathways. National Classification for athletes with physical impairments will be available at selected Futures events.

Interschools Snowsport Championships – Multiclass Event
Multiclass events are open to people of all ages with physical or visual impairments and offer a fun, welcoming environment for recreational and competitive participants.
Take on the challenge in either the alpine giant slalom or the snowboard giant slalom event!

DWA Member Camps – July & August
Hosted by Disabled Wintersport Australia, these Member Camps are a great way to build confidence and skills in a supportive environment. Held at Falls Creek and Thredbo, these camps offer a chance for skiers and snowboarders to deepen their connection with the sport and community.

ACA Camp
Taking place at Hotham, this camp provides another opportunity to engage with Para-snowsport. More details to come.
Spring Camp
Held at Perisher, the Spring Camp is a fun way to wrap up the season. Athletes can celebrate their progress with a week of training, BBQs and friendly racing – all while enjoying the best of the late snow season.
