Three-time Paralympian Ben Tudhope’s quest for a fourth Games has continued with solid results at the recent Para-Snowboard World Cup event in Germany.

With the 2026 Milano-Cortina Paralympic Games in sight, Tudhope made it to the podium twice in two days in the Men’s Snowboard Cross SB-LL2.

His feat came as Paralympic Australia representatives travelled to Northern Italy to visit the Games sites and for an update on progress, with just over two years to go until the Opening Ceremony.
“Winning two silver medals at the Snowboard Cross World Cup in Grasgehren was an exhilarating achievement,” Tudhope said.

“The competition was intense and definitely pushed me to my limits. So, I’m stoked to secure my place on the podium twice over.”

Tudhope also took part in the first ever FIS Inclusive Mixed Team Snowboard Cross Event.

Up-and-coming snowboarder Maya Billingham joined forces with Tudhope for the historic event which required one Para and one non-Para athlete in each team, and no more than one athlete per gender.

Tudhope said taking part in the mixed event was an honour and an important step towards inclusivity.
“What truly made this experience unforgettable was the groundbreaking inaugural inclusive team event, where I had the honour of competing alongside Maya Billingham,” he said.

“Together, we showcased the power of unity in sport, leaving an indelible mark on the history of snowboarding and paving the way for a more inclusive future in Paralympic/able-bodied sport.”
