Spread the love

Paralympics Australia wishes to extend its deep sympathies to the family and many friends of Jarred Liddicoat after the Australian Para Ice Hockey captain passed away earlier this month.

The loss of Liddicoat, who was 33, is being felt profoundly in the small but tight-knit Para Ice Hockey community, particularly in Queensland, where he was a popular player, mentor and coach.

Liddicoat, who acquired paraplegia in 2017, showed great talent and enthusiasm for Para Ice Hockey. He became the first Australian to score in a World Championship match, against Finland in 2018, and was later named the Most Valuable Player at the tournament.

The funeral will be in Buderim, Queensland on March 4.
