A strong Para-archery team has departed Australia to compete at the 2019 World Archery Para Championships in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands on 3-9 June. The World Championships double as a qualifying event for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

The team will be led by Jonathon Milne, who won Australia’s first Paralympic medal in Para-archery in 32 years in 2016. Joining him will be Peter Marchant, Craig McMurdo, Ameera Lee, Hazel Hockley and Craig Newbery.

Marchant is in career best form after winning a silver medal at the 5th Fazza Para-archery World Ranking Tournament in Dubai, UAE, last month, and Lee will be looking to transfer her strong domestic form into a podium finish in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
