On July 6, 2011, Pyeongchang was elected to host the 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Having bid unsuccessfully twice before, PyeongChang emerged the winner against Annecy, France and Munich, Germany – the lowest number of bidding nations since the bids for the 1988 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Five sports will be contested at the Pyeongchang Paralympic Winter Games and it is expected 690 athletes from over 50 countries will compete.

The APC is currently seeking expressions of interest from Sports Physicians and Physiotherapists to support our programs during 2017 and 2018.  This is likely to involve domestic and international travel.
