Australia’s Dylan Alcott became the first French Open men’s singles quad champion after defeating American second seed David Wagner in the final.

Top seed Alcott came through 6-2 4-6 6-2 to add the Roland Garros title to January’s fifth Australian Open crown as he attempts a first ever quad calendar Grand Slam.

This is the first year that all four majors will feature the discipline as it makes its debut in Paris and at Wimbledon next month.
