The APC manages a number of sports and programs that benefit Australia's Paralympians both on the sporting field and in everyday life. Please click on the tabs to the left to learn more about APC programs.
The APC manages five Paralympic sports: boccia, goalball, powerlifting, wheelchair rugby and winter sports.
The APC also drives the Paralympic Talent Search, a talent identification program for developing athletes with a disability, that ensures they develop down the correct pathways to elite sport.
Assisting Australia's Paralympians in their goals outside sport is also important to the APC. Through partnerships with sponsors and supporters, a range of employment opportunities and scholarships are on offer to members of the Paralympic Preparation Program (PPP).
The APC also aims to promote the Paralympic values of diversity and inclusivity to the Australian public. The Paralympic Education Program is a nationwide program designed to educate Australian school children on Paralympic athletes and sport.
The Paralympic Speakers Program, where Paralympians visit businesses, schools and other workplaces to highlight the importance of workplace safety, also promotes safe work while enriching the lives of affected Paralympians.
