WorkCover NSW, proud sponsor of the APC, has launched its Paralympic Development Scholarship program which offers Australia’s Paralympians additional financial support to help ensure they achieve their full potential in the sporting arena.

New South Wales based Paralympians and aspiring Paralympians were eligible to apply for a Paralympic Development Scholarship to the value of $10,000. With four scholarships awarded, recipients can now use the funds for training and competition, tertiary and vocational education, personal development and travel and accommodation expenses.

The recipients of the 2012 WorkCover NSW Paralympic Development Scholarships will be announced shortly.

WorkCover NSW is a Major Partner of the APC. Other initiatives include the WorkCover NSW Paralympic Speakers Program which raises awareness about the importance of workplace safety.
